Path Limitations in Webflow

No items found.

Webflow's page path structures are limited to these 3 patterns;

  1. Standalone page;
    /page-slug
  2. Page in a folder;
    /folder-slug/page-slug
  3. Collection item;
    /collection-slug/item-slug

For many designers, this is a frustration.

Why can't I have;

/whatever/path/that/i/want ?

There are perhaps real SEO and UX advantages to a more versatile path control, like;

/blog/blog-category-slug/blog-page-slug

But Webflow ( Nov-2022 ) has no support for this.

In this course, we'll discuss some ways you can get around this.

WARNING; This course is highly technical, and may challenge you. Some of the solutions require an advanced level of web-tech and architectural understanding.
WARNING: Some of these approaches may cause problems for e.g. Google's web crawlers, so be aware of those situations and design for them properly.

I fully classify the contents of this course as #hacks, so... you have been warned.
