Midjourney 5 is released! Here are some valuable ways you can use it in Webflow.

Important- as of the end of March 2023, MJ5 is only accessible to paying members ( @ $20/mo ).

To use MJ5, add the option --v 5 to any prompt, or change your /settings.

Replace Stock Photography

MJ5 has enhanced its ability to generate photographic images when your prompt describes a photo.

"In --v 5 you will note prompts designed to look like photographs. In fact, the system default is more photographic. To see images that look more like art than like photographs, prompt for artists names, art styles, media sources... plus add --stylize 1000 to the end of the prompt."

Also-

Remixing Images

Take a foreground and background image to create specific compositions.

Create background textures

The new --tile option will create seamless backgrounds designed to your prompt specification.

Tips

Prompts are much more powerful- describe what you actually want to see, rather than simply including a bunch of random descriptive words.

ChatGPT can be used to write Midjourney prompts.

Limitations

Still crap at text.
