His journey began with a degree in Visual Communications, leading him to specialize in animation and motion, a field where he has since made significant strides.

Matt's career is marked by his collaborations with major players and leading companies across New Zealand, contributing to high-profile projects for globally recognized brands such as Samsung, Spark, Vodafone, McDonald's, Coke, Mastercard, and Visa. His work extends to significant projects with major insurance brands and automotive giants like Toyota, Subaru, Kia, and VW.

Notably, Matt has directed groundbreaking campaigns for the Kids Can and Graham Dingell Foundation, showcasing his versatility and commitment to impactful storytelling. His skill set is vast, covering motion graphics, design, illustration, compositing, visual effects, editing, and color grading. He is particularly renowned for his proficiency in using After Effects for 2D animation, a testament to his technical acumen.
